"My name is Philéo, I am 18 years old, I have been designing, creating shoes and objects since I was 15 years old.
I was fortunate enough to grow up in a family of painters, sculptors, authors and philosophers. This creativity is what sustains me today.
I am very interested in the idea of collective creation, and my heritage along with the desire to be immersed in collaboration inspires me.
In 2015 I set up my first company Bunker Scootering, a brand of freestyle scooters with designer Flavien Mollard. This first step allowed me to believe in myself and to see that my desire to create could take shape.
In 2017, I discovered fashion during my first internship at Céline.
Phoebe Philo’s minimalist references still feed me to this day.
When it comes to accessories, sneakers have always been at the center of my passions. I’ve been collecting them since I was 14, it’s like an extension of myself. The lines and curves of the shoes stimulate my eye, just like those of a beautiful car.
In 2019, I decided to create my eponymous brand: PHILEO. I willingly committed my first name to this venture, partly because of its meaning in ancient Greek, “I love».
It is in this spirit that I want to create, surrounded by people I love, who inspire and accompany me to nourish my projects.
PHILEO is therefore a fundamentally collaborative brand, I want to draw from all generations to shape a universe that nevertheless feels like me, whose values are:
a strong awareness of the environment, of sharing, and of synergy between subjects.
