MAKE THEM LAST

Making your shoes last is the first step of a sustainable journey. Signs of passing time are part of PHILEO's shoe philosophy ; they magnify the product and make each pairs entirely unique.

You'll find two types of advice on this guide, one for Apple skin ("leather") and faux suede which are very similar to animal leathers in it's aspect and it's maintenance, and the other one for canvas, nylon and all other textiles made shoes.

KEEP THEM FRESH

APPLE SKIN'S / FAUX SUEDE SHOES

Keep (wooden if possible) lasts in your shoes as much as possible in order for them to stay in shape.

You could also waterproof them - be careful about the waterproof color before applying (also works for textile shoes).

CLEANING

APPLE SKIN'S / FAUX SUEDE SHOES

Apple skin PHILEO's mustn't be putted in the washing machine, you'd risk to endommage them by doing so.

To clean them - you must use a slightly humidified sponge.

TEXTILE SHOES

Mix lukewarm water, Marseille soap and baking soda.

Brush the shoes with this mix.

Rinse the shoes with a sponge and then let them dry. Textile shoes mustn't be putted in washing machines, color may fade & global shape may be altered by high heat.
