PHILEO – Exchange & Returns Policy

This Exchange & Returns Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases of PHILEO footwear made through www.phileo.paris (“Website”). By placing an order, you (“Customer”) agree to the terms set forth below.

PHILEO is a small, independent footwear company producing in limited runs. Due to the nature of our production, we cannot accommodate return practices typical of mass-market retailers. This Policy is designed to protect both the integrity of our products and the sustainability of our brand.


1. Condition of Returned Products

1.1. Products must be returned in impeccable, unworn condition and in their original packaging (including dust bags, accessories, and inserts).

1.2. Products showing any signs of wear (including but not limited to creased leather, marked soles, scratches, stains, or odors) will not be accepted. PHILEO does not resell second-hand or “B-stock” products.

1.3. Customers are strongly advised to try footwear on a clean, soft surface (such as carpet) to avoid damage prior to final purchase decision.


2. Exchanges

2.1. Exchanges are permitted within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date the Customer receives the order.

2.2. PHILEO will cover the cost of return shipping of the original pair and the cost of shipping the replacement pair to the Customer.

2.3. Exchanges are subject to availability of stock. If the requested size or model is unavailable, the Customer may instead request a refund pursuant to Section 3.


3. Returns for Refund

3.1. Customers may return eligible products for a refund within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt.

3.2. The Customer must bear the cost of return shipping for refunds. PHILEO does not provide prepaid labels for returns seeking a refund.

3.3. Refunds will only be issued after PHILEO has inspected and confirmed that the returned product complies with Section 1 of this Policy.

3.4. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe, not to exceed fourteen (14) business days from approval of the return.


4. Process for Exchanges and Returns

4.1. To initiate an exchange or return, Customers must contact PHILEO via email at contact@phileo.paris within the fourteen (14) day period.

4.2. PHILEO will provide the Customer with the appropriate return instructions and return address.

4.3. All returned parcels must include proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice).

4.4. Risk of loss or damage during return transit remains with the Customer until the product is received and inspected by PHILEO. Customers are therefore advised to use a secure and trackable shipping method.


5. Non-Compliance

5.1. Products returned outside the fourteen (14) day window, in non-compliant condition, or without prior authorization will not be accepted and will be returned to the Customer at the Customer’s expense.


6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

6.1. This Policy and any disputes arising from it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France.

6.2. Any dispute relating to the interpretation, execution, or enforcement of this Policy shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.


7. Final Notes

PHILEO reserves the right to amend or update this Policy at any time without prior notice. The version published on the Website at the time of purchase shall apply.
