PHILEO — Exchanges & Returns

This Exchange & Returns Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases of PHILEO footwear made through www.phileo.paris (“Website”). By placing an order, the Customer agrees to the terms set forth below.

PHILEO is an independent house producing in limited runs. To preserve the quality, integrity of our products, and the sustainability of the brand, we cannot apply return practices typical of mass-market retailers.


Sale Items - Final Sale

Products purchased at a discounted price (including items marked “Sale”, “Archive”, “Promotion”, or purchased with a promotional code) are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange, except in cases of manufacturing defect or non-conformity.


1. Condition of Returned Products

  • Products must be returned new, unworn, and in their original packaging (box, dust bags, inserts, accessories).

  • Any sign of wear (creases, marked soles, scratches, stains, odors) will result in refusal of the return.

  • PHILEO does not resell second-hand or “B-stock” products.

  • Customers are advised to try footwear on a clean, soft surface (such as carpet) before making a final decision.


2. Exchanges

  • Exchanges are permitted within 14 calendar days of receipt of the order, excluding sale items.

  • PHILEO covers the shipping costs for:

    • the return of the original pair

    • the shipment of the replacement pair

  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

  • If the requested size or model is unavailable, a refund may be offered only for non-sale items.


3. Returns for Refund

  • Returns for refund are accepted within 14 calendar days of receipt, excluding sale items.

  • Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer.

  • Refunds will be issued only after inspection and validation of the returned product.

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a maximum of 14 business days following approval of the return.


4. Process for Exchanges and Returns

To initiate a return or exchange, please contact contact@phileo.paris within 14 days of receipt.

Please include:

  • Order number

  • Product name

  • Reason for return or exchange

PHILEO will then provide:

  • the return address

  • shipping instructions

All returned parcels must include proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice).

The Customer bears responsibility for any loss or damage during return shipping. We recommend using a tracked and insured service.


5. Non-Compliance

Returns will be refused if:

  • outside the 14-day period,

  • the item shows signs of wear or damage,

  • returned without prior authorization,

  • or if a sale item is returned without a proven defect.

In such cases, the product will be returned to the Customer at their expense.

7. Governing Law

This Policy is governed by French law.
Any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.


8. Policy Updates

PHILEO reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. The applicable version is the one published on the Website at the time of purchase.
